Sparki.Academy — Privacy Policy

Sparki.Academy collects minimal data to deliver products, process payments, and send the newsletter. This policy explains what is collected, why, and who else touches it.
1. What We Collect
When you sign up for the newsletter or download the free checklist: Your email address. That is it. No phone number, no company name, no physical address unless you voluntarily provide it through the contact form.
When you purchase a digital product: Your name, email address, and payment information (credit card or payment method). Payment information is collected and processed entirely by Stripe — Sparki.Academy does not store, see, or have access to your full credit card number.
When you submit the contact form: Your name, business name, email, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message. This information is sent directly to Sparki.Academy via email and is not stored in a database.
When you visit the website: Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Sparki.Academy does not use tracking cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics tools that follow you across the internet. No Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics, no ad trackers.
2. How We Use It
Email addresses collected through the newsletter signup are used to send the weekly Friday Spark newsletter and occasional product announcements. That is the only use.
Contact form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry. They are not added to the newsletter list unless you separately subscribe.
Purchase information is used to deliver your digital product and to send a receipt. Stripe retains transaction records per their own privacy policy.
3. Who Else Has Access
MailerLite — manages the email list and sends the newsletter. Their privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy
Stripe — processes payments for digital products and consulting invoices. Their privacy policy applies to payment data: https://stripe.com/privacy
Google Workspace — hosts the Sparki.Academy email. Emails you send to or receive from Sparki.Academy addresses are processed through Google’s infrastructure: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Sparki.Academy does not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else. No data brokers, no ad networks, no “trusted partners” marketing lists.
4. Email Preferences
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it removes you from the mailing list immediately. You can also email support@sparki.academy to request removal.
If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your email is removed from the active mailing list. MailerLite may retain a record of the unsubscription for compliance purposes per their own data retention policy.
5. Cookies
Sparki.Academy does not use marketing cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
The site may use essential cookies required for basic functionality (such as session management if you are completing a form). These are not used for tracking or analytics.
6. Data Retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained as long as the subscription is active. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting and tax compliance. Contact form messages are retained in email and deleted when no longer needed for the inquiry.
If you want your data deleted, email support@sparki.academy and specify what you want removed. We will process the request within 30 days.
7. Children
Sparki.Academy does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The products and services are designed for adult professionals in the electrical construction industry.
8. Security
Sparki.Academy uses HTTPS encryption on the website, processes payments through Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure, and stores email data on MailerLite’s secured platform. No system is perfectly secure, but reasonable measures are in place to protect your information.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations) to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@sparki.academy. We will respond within 30 days.
Sparki.Academy does not discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.
10. Changes to This Policy
Sparki.Academy may update this policy at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, consistent with the Terms of Use.
